When my father was diagnosed with cancer I knew that I had to start making every day count with him. And five years later when he went into hospice and passed away I pretty much had no regrets. Why? Because of what I chose to do five years prior.
I chose to be present and to live out the best of each moment while also taking photos to have as memories.
Photography is amazing because you can look at a single image and instantly be brought back to how you felt in that moment. Even if just for a split second, you remember the feeling.
Having a social media manager for you business allows you to spend more time with your horse. That means more time to ride, more time to groom, more time to show, and more time to just be.
That’s why I created Buckin’ Good Media… I want to help you honor your memories and savor your life. I don’t want anyone to look back and wish they had more time to spend or more photos with their horses.

Like most other photographers Maren’s journey began as a teenager when she was gifted a camera for Christmas. Then after ten years in the photography industry she decided to take a break and pursue nursing where she found her life forever changed. Between working through a pandemic and dealing with her father having cancer, Maren realized that life is too short to do anything that doesn’t bring you happiness. In April of 2020 Maren jumped back into photography with Butler Photo knowing that this is what she wanted to do. It wasn’t until the death of her father in November of 2021 where Maren decided that it’s now or never with her photography. After six months of hard work Maren was able to leave healthcare and so Buckin’ Good Media was created in May of 2022 with social media services being offered in September 2022.
Maren wants to help you live your horse girl dreams of spending more time in the saddle and less time in the office. She will help you develop your social media eye with coaching, create the photo shoot of your dreams as your photographer, and plan content that lets you live that Buckin’ Good life as a business owner.
